Our history
The history of Riboni Trasporti goes back to 1947, when Angelo Riboni bought his first truck for transporting small quantities of goods. When Angelo’s son Pietro became part of the family firm, the business began to be more complex and competitive, with haulage extended to cover the whole of Italy and neighbouring Switzerland; the first integrated logistics services were introduced.
After the third generation – Davide, Matteo and Alberto Riboni – joined the firm, Riboni Trasporti began to extend its operations into Eastern Europe and North Africa, opening branches in Romania (Oradea), Russia (Moscow) and Morocco (Tangiers).
The company has always been closely in tune with developments in the market, and this, along with its continued search for innovative solutions for its customers, has led Riboni Trasporti (ISO 9001 certificate) to invest heavily in the safety aspects of its goods transportation, with the addition of services of trace and tracking and constant monitoring of goods transported.
